Where we work

We're on the road across Perth metro & the Peel region every day. These are our home suburbs — if yours isn't listed, call anyway: 0411 553 089.

Mandurah

Mandurah's housing stock spans decades — 1970s and 80s brick-and-tile homes further from the water, canal-front properties built from the 1990s onward, and newer builds out towards the eastern suburbs. The older brick-and-tile homes often still have original switchboards and wiring that were never designed for modern loads like multiple appliances, a pool pump and an EV charger running at once. Canal and waterfront properties add another factor: salt air corrodes outdoor electrical fittings and switchboard components faster than it does further inland, so weatherproofing and marine-grade fittings matter here more than most suburbs.

Rockingham

Rockingham has a mix of established suburbs with homes from the 1970s through 90s, alongside newer development further south and east. Coastal areas close to the foreshore and the naval base face similar salt air exposure to Mandurah, which shortens the life of outdoor switchboards and exposed cabling. Established inland pockets tend to bring the more typical ageing-home issues — fuse boards still in place, safety switches missing from some circuits, and wiring that's due for review, especially in homes that haven't been touched since they were built.

Baldivis

Baldivis is largely newer housing stock, with most estates built from the mid-2000s onward and development still continuing in parts of the suburb. That means the electrical issues we see here are different to older suburbs — fewer switchboard replacements, more requests for EV chargers, home theatre and outdoor entertaining circuits, and extra power points as growing families fit out sheds, alfresco areas and home offices. Standard-inclusion switchboards in project homes are usually fine, but they're often close to capacity by the time a household adds a pool, a home office, and an EV.

Halls Head

Halls Head is a mostly established coastal suburb, with a good mix of homes from the 1980s and 90s alongside newer builds and renovations closer to the beach. Being right on the coast, salt air exposure is a real factor here, affecting outdoor power points, light fittings and switchboards in exposed locations. A lot of the work we do in Halls Head is coastal corrosion repair, since outdoor fittings here wear out faster than the same fitting would inland.

Secret Harbour

Secret Harbour is a newer coastal suburb, with most homes built from the early 2000s onward and development continuing in the surrounding growth areas. Housing stock here is generally younger than Mandurah or Rockingham, so the electrical work tends to be less about ageing switchboards and more about additions — EV chargers, outdoor entertaining circuits, shed and alfresco power — combined with the coastal corrosion factor that comes with being close to the beach. It's a common spot for us to install marine-rated outdoor fittings from the start, rather than retrofitting them later.
